DESIGN
M1 is a 100% custom crane arm, designed and fabricated in house by Matthew Macomber.
A no-compromise design approach was taken to ensure the highest level of performance and reliability for its intended use.

As a result, M1 excels in even the most demanding environments such as rocky off-road terrain and high speed race tracks.

Matt

Matt drew inspiration for M1's design from existing camera car systems such as the famed "Russian Arm" by Filmotechnic.
The project, which kicked off in 2015, was the perfect challenge for Matt as it bridged his passion for high end filmmaking with his talent for "building stuff".
Seeing M1 come to life and be used to capture breathtaking footage is a dream realized.
